Susan Pickering, R.P.F

Susan is the Program Manager of the FRP and is based at the Canadian Ecology Center near Mattawa, ON. As the Program Manager, Susan provides support and direction for operations of the Forest Research Partnership.

Personal Profile:Susan graduated from the University of Toronto in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in forestry.  She has had a varied career working in all aspects of forestry including management planning, and research for both the private sector and government.  Susan remains very busy as the Program Manager for the FRP while retaining her home position with the Tembec organization where she has been for 12 years, currently as Divisional Forester responsible for management planning and environmental certification for their Ontario Boreal operations. In addition, she is a part-time instructor with College Boreal, Northern College and Algonquin College and sits on the Board for the Natural Resource Technician Program, Haileybury Campus, Northern College.
